Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences, and parting with their ashes can feel especially difficult. A bespoke memorial painting offers a beautiful and lasting way to honour their memory, keeping a part of them close to you forever.
Each portrait is lovingly hand-painted using high-quality acrylic paints on premium cotton stretched canvas, ensuring rich, vibrant colours that endure over time. A small portion of your pet’s ashes is carefully blended into the artwork, creating a truly personal and meaningful tribute. This delicate process adds subtle texture and depth, making your piece even more special.
You can see examples of how this looks here.

To create a truly personal tribute to your beloved pet, I will need two things: a high-quality photo (or multiple photos) and around half a cup of ashes. The clearer and more detailed the images, the better—I want to ensure every fine detail is beautifully captured in your painting. Any ashes not incorporated into the artwork will be respectfully returned to you.
You can choose the size of your canvas and decide whether you’d prefer a deep-edge canvas, which can be hung immediately, or a standard-depth canvas, which is ideal for framing (you can see some examples of canvas styles here).
Once we’ve finalised these details, I will suggest ideas for your portrait’s composition before starting the painting. When the piece is complete, I’ll send you a photo for approval, ensuring it captures your pet’s character perfectly. Once you’re happy with it, I will apply two protective coats of matt varnish to preserve the artwork for years to come.
You can choose to collect your portrait in person or have it carefully packaged and posted to you with the utmost care.
Pricing starts from £180 for a 30 x 30 cm portrait.
