About Debbie

Debbie was interested in art from an early age, winning a National Cadbury’s Art Award when she was only 8. She first exhibited her artwork at 15 and went on to study art at A-Level.

Shortly after Debbie left education, she became a journalist and then a communications professional. After the birth of her two children, Debbie rediscovered her passion for art. After posting a quick sketch of her eldest daughter on Facebook, she was inundated with requests to do similar drawings for other people, and as they say, the rest is history!

Debbie now works part-time in communications and dedicates the other part of her week (and many evenings and weekends) to following her passion. She works from her studio in Norfolk, England and favours the bright, bold colours that can be achieved through acrylic paints.

Her reputation as a wildlife artist is growing and her artwork hangs on walls as far afield as New Zealand and America. She is also a member of the Natural World Art Society, which helps raise money for various wildlife conservation charities.

Debbie has a steady stream of commissions, particularly pet portraits, which she enjoys.

She regularly exhibits her work and invites interested parties to visit her studio by appointment.
